The Midlands Leadership Experience (MLE) was conceived by Simon Bozeat following the success of the Ashby Business Club (ABC) which ran for 2 years from February 2008. During this time we developed a community of clubs and ran over 60 breakfast and lunchtime events both in and around Ashby, Loughborough, Castle Donington and Tamworth. Without exception the most successful events were those where the participants had the opportunity to meet, listen to, learn from and build relationships with outstanding business leaders.
The events are a combination of networking, peer learning, education and training, business problem solving and door opening.
The primary differences between the ABC and the MLE are that every event is open to any business leader. Previously at each ABC event places were limited to one member of each profession.
The primary focus of the ABC was networking and the exchange of personal introductions (referrals) to allow new doors to be opened. The primary focus of the MLE is LEADERSHIP and business growth. At every MLE event you will be invited to sow the seeds to new and mutually beneficial business relationships.
The ABC primarily attracted locally based service industries. The MLE is designed to appeal to a wide range of organisations with huge potential. Representation will include agriculture, consulting, engineering, logistics, manufacturing, pharmaceuitcal, professional services, public sector, retail and services.
ABC events were normally conducted over lunch or breakfast - each MLE event is on a SUPER WEDNESDAY or THURSDAY running from 6.30pm to 9.30pm at a prestigious location. (Prompt start and finish)
